  • Portal users assigned to projects
  • Anyone with the User or Professional role

What you’ll learn

  • How to browse your projects list
  • How to view tasks, milestones, and issues inside a project
  • How to open a task or issue and leave a comment
Step 1

Browse Your Projects

Click Projects in your portal sidebar to open the projects list. Every project you’re a member of in Zoho Projects appears here with a live status, completion percentage, and counts of open tasks and open issues.

My Projects list in the Ventana portal The portal sidebar shows Projects as the active navigation item. The main content area displays a table of three projects with status tags, completion percentages, and open task and issue counts. Three callouts indicate the Projects nav item, a clickable project name, and the progress columns. app.getventana.com/portal/projects Ventana My Info Projects Invoices Documents Signatures Support My Projects View your assigned projects and track progress. 1

Click “Projects” in the sidebar

Select Projects from the left navigation. The sidebar item highlights teal and the My Projects table loads.

2

Click a project name to open it

Each project name is a teal link. Click it to drill into that project’s detail page, where you can see its tasks, milestones, and issues.

3

Read the progress columns

The Done column shows overall completion percentage. Tasks and Issues show the number of open items needing attention. A status tag (Active, On Hold, Completed) reflects the project’s current state in Zoho Projects.

ℹ️
Only projects where you are an active member in Zoho Projects will appear in this list. If you expect a project to be visible and it is not, ask your admin to verify your membership.

Step 2

Explore a Project — Tasks, Milestones & Issues

The project detail page organizes all project data into three tabs: Tasks, Milestones, and Issues. Switch between them to see different aspects of the project without leaving the page.

Below is a tabbed card with three tabs — Tasks (currently active), Milestones, and Issues. The tasks table lists three tasks with status, assignee, priority, and due date columns. Callouts indicate the tab switcher, a clickable task name, and the status and priority tags. app.getventana.com/portal/projects/101 Ventana My Info Projects Invoices Documents Signatures Support ← Back to Projects Acme Corp Portal Redesign Active Owner: Riley Archibald · Completion: 65% Tasks Milestones Issues TASK STATUS ASSIGNEE PRIORITY DUE Design homepage mockup Open Riley A. Switch between tabs

The card below the project header has three tabs: Tasks, Milestones, and Issues. Click any tab to load that section — each tab only loads when you first visit it, so there may be a brief moment while data loads.

2

Click a task name to open it

Task names appear as teal links. Click one to open the full task detail — where you can read the description and participate in the comment thread.

3

Read status and priority at a glance

Each task row shows a Status tag (Open, In Progress, Closed) and a Priority tag (High, Medium, Low) color-coded for quick scanning. The Assignee and Due date columns help you understand ownership and timing.

💡
Tip: The Milestones tab shows start and end dates for each milestone alongside its status. If a milestone is still in progress, its status shows In Progress in amber; once all tasks within it are closed, it shows Completed in green.

Step 3

View a Task and Add a Comment

Clicking a task name opens the task detail page. Here you can read the full task description, review the existing comment thread, and post your own comment — visible to your project team inside Zoho Projects.

Step 4

View an Issue and Add a Comment
