Enable the Invoices feature and configure module permissions so your portal users can view their billing history.

Enable the Invoices feature

The Invoices feature is controlled by a global feature flag in Settings → Field Configuration → Features. Flipping this toggle on makes the Invoices module available to your organization. Users still need individual access granted in Step 2.

Open Settings

Click Settings in the left sidebar. This takes you to the Field Configuration page where all module toggles live.

Find the “Invoices” row

Scroll to the Features card and locate the row labeled Invoices with the description “Show the Invoices module to users.”

Flip the toggle to ON

Click the toggle on the right side of the row. It turns teal when enabled. The change saves automatically.

Enabling the feature makes Invoices available to your organization, but users still need individual module access granted in Step 2 below.

Configure user module permissions

Below the Features card on the Settings page, the Module Permissions table controls which roles can access each module. Grant Invoices access to the User role by toggling the corresponding cell, then save.

Locate the “Invoices” column

Scroll down on the Settings page, past the Features card, to the Module Permissions table. Find the Invoices column.

Enable the toggle for the User role

Click the toggle in the Invoices column of the User row to grant access. It turns teal when enabled.

Click “Save Permissions”

Confirm the change with the Save Permissions button at the bottom right of the table.

ℹ️
Admin accounts are excluded by design — admins do not see the Invoices sidebar link.
⚠️
The Professional role cannot be granted Invoices access — this is locked by the system. Professionals access invoice data through their assigned contact records in Zoho CRM.
